About Us
Supporting you in achieving and maintaining Your Real Identity
LGBTQ+ activist, a Pakistani ethnicity currently living in the United Kingdom, where I continue my journey toward safety, self-acceptance, and advocacy as a gay man from Pakistan.
I was born and raised in Pakistan. I completed my graduation from home country, where I studied Information Technology.
In October 2021, I moved to the UK to pursue a Master’s degree in International Business with Data Analysis.
My Journey and Identity
From a young age, I became aware that I was different. Growing up in a conservative Pakistani society, I struggled deeply with my sexual identity. Same-sex attraction is not only socially condemned in Pakistan but also criminalised, creating an environment of fear, silence, and isolation for LGBTQ+ individuals.
Throughout my teenage and university years, I experienced bullying, emotional distress, and the constant pressure to hide who I truly was. Despite this, I formed meaningful relationships that helped me understand myself better and showed me that love, respect, and companionship were possible even in the most difficult circumstances.
As an adult, the pressure to conform intensified, particularly through expectations of forced marriage. These pressures, combined with the lack of legal protection for LGBTQ+ people in Pakistan, made it impossible for me to live openly or safely there.
Life in the United Kingdom
Since arriving in the UK, I have begun to live more authentically. The UK has given me space to understand myself without fear and to connect with supportive LGBTQ+ communities.
I actively participate in LGBTQ+ social and support groups, including ELOPE, NAZ & MATT, and community events. I have also attended UK Pride events, which for me represent visibility, dignity, and survival.
These spaces have played a vital role in my healing process and have allowed me to rebuild confidence, community, and hope.
Why This Platform Exists
This website exists to share my story and to stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ individuals from Pakistan and other conservative societies who are forced to live in silence. My journey is not unique—thousands face similar dangers simply for being who they are.
Through visibility, storytelling, and advocacy, I hope to raise awareness about the realities faced by LGBTQ+ people in Pakistan and to support the fundamental right of every human being to live freely, safely, and with dignity.
A Message of Hope
Being gay is not a crime. It is a natural part of human identity—about love, emotional connection, and authenticity.
My story is one of struggle, but also of resilience. I continue to move forward with hope: hope for safety, for acceptance, and for a future where no one has to choose between their identity and their life.
